I had a fantastic stay in this cottage with a great location in the heart of the town. Everything I needed was within walking distance, including shops, pubs, restaurants, and takeouts. The views over the mill pond were beautiful, and I loved the friendly ducks that would come to say hello. The cottage itself was much bigger than I expected, with a spacious lounge/diner and comfortable bedrooms that easily accommodated four people. There were plenty of games and books to keep me entertained, as well as informative guides about the local area and attractions.

The noise from the passing lorries and heavy vehicles, possibly from the nearby quarries, was a bit disruptive. this did not detract too much from our overall enjoyment of the stay.

Plus, there are loads of games, books, and walking guides to keep you entertained. Oh, and did I mention the leaflets about local attractions? So convenient! And to top it all off, there's a lovely view of the mill pond with adorable ducklings, herons, and swifts that made the experience even more special. Public transport is also easily accessible, and The Boat Inn - a local pub - is definitely worth a visit. The staff there were incredibly friendly. With Wi-Fi, free parking, and a strict no pets and smoking policy, this place has it all. I can't recommend it enough!
